1989 bronco 302 hard starting and more!!!!

1989 bronco 302 hard starting and more!!!!

Hey guys im about to try and drive the oldbronco to Arizona from NY. It runs great but starts hard even after its warm. Drives me crazy. Oh and my tranny pan leaks, should I replace the gasket or since its a high mile truck what should i do?? Anything else i should check? Im towing a trailer too, hope i make it!!! Thanks guys!!!

The pan gasket should not be a big deal to change. In fact, if it hasn't had a fluid change recently, it's a good idea to do that, and the filter. A filter kit should include a gasket, and should be no more than about $20. I'd make sure that you have an adequate transmission cooler if you're going to tow anything.

As to hard starting, how are the plugs, wires, rotor, cap?
