AOD in 1951 F1 - Shifter/TV cable Pics Please.

I need pictures of transmission hook up to shifter and TV cable.... Please send to home@whittz.com

I am about to put my engine and transmission back into my truck and would like to see what you guys did for those running a Ford AOD transmission.

Thanks

Column shift or floor shift? Carburetor or fuel injected?

I knew I forgot something: Lokar floor shifter and fuel injection.

On my 302 FI (1987 T-Bird engine-Explorer intake in a 1953 F100), I used the OEM TV cable and bracket on the tranny. I had to modify the fabricate the arm on the tranny as the Lokar shift kit (column shift) wouldn't allow the OEM arm to function properly. As yours is floor mounted, the OEM arm might work, or you may also have to fabricate an arm. I'm in the middle of a massive bedroom remodel, but I'll try to get you pics soon.

While we are on the subject, I need to know if anyone has used the VDO electronic speedometer with an AOD. The speedometer drive on my AOD has only a 2 wire hookup point, the Hall adapter for my speedometer screws on like a drive cable
