Rear (Aft Axle) Poly Tanks??

Was there ever an Aft axle poly tank made for the 73-79 trucks with the wide rear frame from the factory??? (73-79 2wd, 77 1/2-79 4x4 etc.)

Plastic fuel tanks were factory installed in some 1973/79's, but I'm not going to list the applications cuz there's too damn many variations.

FTE member mikeo0o0o0 has the 1973/79 Ford light truck parts catalog on a CD, will scan and post from it.

Text, Section 90, Pages 1-2-3 are what y'all want to look at. Or you can buy your own catalog from hipoparts.com and look the applications up yourself.

And. btw: You'll see plastic tanks listed for 1973/79 F350's on the 140" wheelbase. These have the narrow 33 1/2" rear frame rails as do 1973/77 F250 4WD High Boys.

EVERYTHING else has the wider 37 1/2" frame rails.

I needed to figure out how to do this.... From Text, Section 90, Pages 1-2-3 (Mike, I need practice! First shot and I know there's an easier way...)

This is the same method Mike uses. Click on the link, open the file, take a look-see.

My 4 1973/79 catalogs (3 light, 1 heavy) are on microfiche, so there is no way to scan/post them.

Maybe the end result; but getting separate pages into individual pdf files.... Mike deserves MAJOR credit!!! And you too ND for endless hours of research & typing.... Thank You both for making this hobby (?) a 100,000 times easier.....
