This may help you out: New Page 1. There is a wealth of information from the learned but flatheaded scholars to be found here. You need more posts to search FTE, but you can Google search & you will often be led right back here to the appropriate posting.

Hello, and welcome to the forum!!
ArcticYblock has posted instructions on how to post a picture in a thread, but it goes something like this:
To post pics, the "insert image" tool needs a link to a picture that is posted somewhere on the internet....it can't be a link to your hard drive. Accordingly, prior to inserting a picture in a thread, you need to post your pictures to some web site that is "always on". The favorites around here are to use Photobucket, or, use the album feature here on FTE.
Here's the steps:
Click on your profile, and create an album. You'll be able to upload three pics at a time, but the maximum picture size is 1024x768. Most cameras produce a larger image, so you may need to use a photo editing tool (like photoshop) to adjust the image size. Smaller is OK, but it won't allow you to upload bigger images.
Next...after the pic is posted to the album, look at the web link (http) address & copy that link.
Now...go to the thread that you want to insert the image in....click the "insert image" button (yellow square with the mountain and th sun). It'll ask for the http link. Paste in the link you copied while looking at your album.

Well i had a very productive last 5 and a half hours. I got the body all beat back into straight panels. turns out all my sheet metal is in pretty decent condition all minus the running boards. there is no hope for them. lol. hopefully over the weekend i will have to front clip taken off and start on pulling the motor and tranny. frame looks like its in great shape that is my goal to get done first before any more body work.
A few questions:
1. guys who are running the stock front axle... i plan to use mine with an upgraded heavy duty tie rod and the works there. what did you guys do for the shock mounts? one of mine is bent and the stock ones dont look all that great...
2. i would like to upgrade to disc brakes on the front also. What is a good kit to use for the upgrade that wont break the bank?
3. on the front axle has anyone found a nice ride height not far off from stock look by removing springs from the pack but will still handle nice and support the 302 engine weight?
Im trying to make a plan of attack and possibly have parts before i get to the stage where its "hurry up and wait on parts" if you know what i mean.
thankyou in advance!

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.
While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ghtsafter1.jpg
Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).
When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).
Your pic will be placed in the post.
Hope that helps.
