01 excursion V10 o2 sensors
Hi guys, Looking for a little info if anyone has it...
01 excursion V10
My AE is showing a o2 sensor ( b1s1 or b1s2 - I forget which ) is flat at 0v and the fuel trim is 99.03. In comparison to the other o2 sensor, Im guessing it has gone bad ( No Code )
1. Am I correct to assume that there are only 2 as the AE system only show b1s1 and b1s2 ?
2. Is it worth it to replace both / all 3 / all four ?
3. Brand ?
Thanks.

Since the truck is over 8,500 GVWR Ford didn't have to put sensors after the CAT. The EPA regulations are more lenient for larger light trucks. This is a good thing because I means you can kill the CAT without tricking out the computer with simulators.

Thanks again for the info.
I went under tonight after work and looked and looked and looked. I can only see 2 as stated here. My AE Software shows only 2.
B1S1 voltage varies from .1 to .8 and the fuel trim is pretty much around 0
B1S2 voltage is reading 0.00 and fuel trim is 99.03
So, I got the tool and the sensor and changed the one that was easier to get to... The Drivers side. And B1S2 is still not functioning
What I am coming up with is :
B1S1 is Drivers side
B1S2 is Passanger Side.
Is this correct ?
Which is completely opposite to what I have read in other posts...
B1S1 Front Pass
B1S2 Rear Pass Side
B2S1 Front Driver
B2S2 Rear Driver

Now I have replaced both o2 sensors and there is still 0v out of B1s2...fuel trim is still at 99.03 ...
I dont mind doing the work unless Im wasting my time and money... Getting my arm stuck in the exaust is not fun... Being trapped under the truck with my arm stuck in the exaust is even less fun...
Any Ideas?

Clean your MAF sensor and reset the computer. I know it sounds dumb but it might be the cure. I had a code checked and it pointed towards a bad pass o2 sensor. Had it reset and the next time it said bad drivers o2 sensor. Did some research, cleaned the maf and reset the computer and no more problems or codes!

I will do that... How clean ? With what ?
The o2 was not giving a code.. Just the AE showed it not having any output voltage. From Im guessing now the O2 sensors were not bad. I guess AE only supports B1S1 and B1S2 which from what I gather are both on the Pass side however, There are not any O2 sensors after the Cat. But I did notice that the overhead trip computer is More responsive, The MPH had began to change a little as I drove and after changing the other 02 sensor, it really changes with the amout of throttle I use..which before It might have changed only .1 MPG in a day.. and now it will drop to 0 MPG is sitting at idle for a few minutes, Before It would only say 8.5..
