F350 Tire Recommendation

Hi Guys,
I've been on spring break with the family for 2 1/2 months now and the truck is still running awesome. I just turned 150,000km's last week so I am officially out of the extended warranty that I purchased. I had the dealer go through the truck from front to back right before the warranty ended and they couldn't find a single issue. My problem now is that my 2nd set of tires has pretty much run their course. For those that don't know I've been running Goodyear Wrangler AT/S and have been happy with the 75,000km's I got from each set. My only major complaint being that they slick over in mud and are useless.

So for my next set I figured I'd turn to you guys for advice and see what the consensus is out there. Probably 98% of my driving is highway but I do get into some good mud driving on and off rig locations and also have the snow and ice to deal with in the winter. I want something that will perform good all around and will also not give me any excessive road noise. Something with decent wear would of course be an added bonus. I'm going to change them out within a week so your advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check out the Toyo Open Country A/T. I would also consider the new Nitto Crosstek. The Michelin LTX M/S is supposed to be very good as well (and a good warranty). I'll be looking for tires soon too, so I started a little researching. I have the Toyo's now and have approx 60K miles on them.

I went with the Michelins myself, great warranty and it was nice to hear the sales guys show me that is what he put on his truck too. So far I love them but have not put very many miles on them yet.

Thanks for the info guys. After reading this and calling a few local shops I think I am going to give the Toyo's a try. They are a little more money than the others but from the research I've done they appear to do really good off road and also have a decent life for highway driving. I'll let you know how they do because they are being put on tomorrow and I'll be heading out to some muddy locations within the next few days. For anyone that's interested the best price I found locally here is $2170 everything in. Cheers

I did a search of Toyo open country A/T 275-65-20 and using a zip code in your reigon for shipping prices and came up with 4 tires shipped to zip s6v 1x7 for $1,498 from performance plus 888-926-2689

I run Cooper Discovery STT's. They run good and will clean out pretty good.

Thanks for taking the time to do that. I am in a bit of a rush but for that price I could wait. I'll call them in the morning and see what they have to say and what kind of wait I'd be looking at. Thanks Again

I run Yokohama Geolander A/T-S on my dually 4x4. Very quiet tire and pulls my fiver just fine across the sand at Glamis. They are load range E tires

I called Performance Plus and they are currently out of stock so I'd be looking at roughly a 2-3 week wait. I will keep the # and pre-order my next set a couple months before I need them. Thanks again for the info. It's always amazing how much cheaper we can get items in the US. Even when you factor in shipping it's still worth while for me to shop outside of Canada.

I'm running with the Cooper Discoverer ATR's. Currently have 30k on them and according to Bob Sumerel tire, I still have 80% tread left.

Did you shop around in your region? It's awful hard to believe this tire dealer can't offer prices hundreds of dollars less then the $2,170 price, that's a $600+ difference.
