Did anyone on this forum receive a letter from Ford Motor Company in the last year or two stating a change in the radiator warranty from 3/36 to 5/100,000? I received such a letter and at the time thought that it was general knowledge and that all 6.4 owners and dealerships were receiving the same information. It wasn't until this week, when the radiator in my F-350 started to leak, that I found out that my dealership had no knowledge of this warranty extension. Unfortunately I'm unable to find my copy of that letter. I made a call to customer service at corporate but that was an exercise in futility. The lady I talked to couldn't tell me who is in charge of customer correspondence and said it is impossible to find out. If anyone on this forum has this information could you please share it with the rest of us. There seems to be a lot of confusion across the country about this warranty issue.

 

No letter...go to ford owners website, by your vin if there is a letter it would probably be there.

 

never saw one either. 3/36 as it has always been going back to 7.3's.

I think I posted TSB 11-12-04. That is the TSB that directs replacement of the degas bottle. Superceded 11-6-6.
