37"s with Cut-Outs Advice Needed.

I am aboiut 5K miles away from needing new tires and I need advice. What I want to do is install the Bushwhacker Cut Out flares and go with 325/80/16 or the same 37"-13.5"-R16. My truck is a 1999 F350 with an add a leaf level in the front. Wheels are 16x10 -38 off set. I know Tanks250 ran cut outs with 36s and no lift on his truck so I think this set up will work. Can anyone confirm that a 99 F350 leveled will clear 37s with the cut outs with this offset? My 4x4 shop says they think it will work but have never seen it done. If I cannot go 37s I am going to do 35s with pocket flares. Thanks for the help.

PS: I am not interested in lifting my truck.

Not sure on the sizes you have posted, but keep in mind, the cut outs only address the fender, you are going to have to cut the bumper as well.

Yes the bumper will need to be cut, but that is no big deal. My largest concern is if the tire will rub the innerfender under normal turning without flex. I know it will rub the springs because it always has ever since I got the truck.

What are the exact measurements of the 35" Cooper tires that you have now? Compare them to the new 37X13.5R16 tires you are planning to purchase.

Since you plan on using the current 16X10 wheels, you should be able to determine the contact points (if any) by adding 1" to the height of the tire and "X" to the width of the tire. Note: You will need to add the amount of tread lose to the first measurement above.

37s will fit with cutouts and stock height, but they will probably look a little small in the fender opening. You'll want at least those -38mm offset wheels to get them out far enough to fill the flares and clear the springs at full lock.

OK thanks for the info guys. By my measurements it should work, but what I am worried about is the tires trying to rub the inner fenderwell at full lock. I was told there is a body seam there and I may have to hammer it in to ensure that my tire never tries to get caught on it. That is to say if my tire had already eaten through the inner fender. I do not see this being a problem, but if anyone has any comments on this let me know.

I would like to hear from some folks who have a similar set up.
