Ive got SD leafs in mine and the stock ones will give you around 2", as far as the back, if you have a 2" block, you can get a 4", or have a spring shop re-arc your current springs. Shackle hanger lift in the front, shackle flip in the back. Lots of cheap and easy ways to lift leaf springs.
As far as 1 ton vs 3/4 ton, from what i have heard there was no difference in the actual springs, the one tons just had a block or taller block than the 3/4 tons. My 79 origionally had a 4" block.

How about add-a-leafs? Should give you 3 inches all the way around.

Okay, kill the caps lock button for starters, all it does is **** people off and then they dont help you...
Sounds like youre truck is a hiboy, having the narrow rears. They do in fact make lifts for these, but no body is going to make a 2" lift.. its pointless. As far as SD springs in yours, they will sit the same or maybe lower since yours is a hiboy, may need some clarifacation if it actually is or not, as im unfamiliar with them.
Next, why are you lifting? So your truck is taller than your brothers?? To run a bigger tire? More flex?
Maybe you want a 2" body lift? We need some more info.

CAPS IS MESSED UP SORRY. I HAVE A "HIGHBOY". I JUST WANT TO LIFT IT AND RUN 38'S I LIKE A CLEAN LOOK SO I DIDNT WANT TO MUCH LIFT 4 MAX. I AM GOING TO RUN BOGGERS. I WOULD LIKE TO STAY WITH A LEAF SPRING SWAP I DONT WANT TO FAB ANYTHING OR SHACKLE FLIP, OR RIG ANYTHING. IM RESTORING THE WHOLE TRUCK. IM JUST BEEFING MOTOR UP AND LIFTING IT. WONT SEE ANY HARDCORE MUDDING. NO BODY LIFT.

You could definitely run 38's without lifting it. As long as they arent really wide or the wheel have some dumb offset it will work. You will most likely have to adjust the bump stops on the axle so you don't rub the power assist. Long before I did the D60 swap and crossover steering w/4" springs I ran 40's with no lift. It was ok not many problems other than couldn't turn as sharp right. After all I did with making homeade lift and then doing it right I'd say if you aren't going to do the steering swap and all that just stay with 35's and stock height if you want it to drive nice.
