How can I prevent stuff from sliding down the back of my seat and then falling behind it.

I have a 1994 regular cab and I have subs behind the seat and it makes whatever I have laying on the seat slide back and fall behind the seat and then onto the floor under the seat. How can I fix this?

Either take the sub out or dont put stuff on the seat.

That would be a mighty bead of silicone, indeed!

I was gonna suggest foam in a can...

Trucks are for towing and hauling, NOT thumping and rattling.

unfourtunately you can't really put things on the single cab bench seats of these trucks w/o loosing them to the back. seat covers are probably best or just put stuff in a bag.

could get one of them cup holder things that also have CD holders built in, its fully adjustable for your cups and things...have one and it works...also can get (forget the name) a back rack type thing (LMC has them) and that might be an option.

Are you referring to the Shelf-It system?

THat you pull the sunvisors off, mount the shelf, and then reattach the sunvisors?

well theres that but no, Im talking about the tuff box or what ever, that has a lock box that sits behind the bench, theres also a fold-able one thats like leather (nylon?) that I have and it is held in place with three or 4 screws, I haven't installed it yet as im not sure where to properly mount it so it wont rip my truck up or any thing like that.

what I was originally talking about was something that sits on your seat...theres two, one thats like an arm rest (don't have that) and the little one that you can find at auto zone or some places like that for like $8

How about a length of pipe insulation (foam tube with a slit down the side)? You might be able to wedge it (cut it in half if needed) into the crack? I think that would definitely work for the 80-86 seats, which has a giant space between the bench and the back, and probably for the newer seats too.

I'm not sure but I think covers are available that are cut for the center arm rest.

I got the center arm rest. I got a cheap seat cover from Walmart and cut and tucked the material around the arm rest. Make a X cut. It looks ok.
