I'm missing something here.....

1) I'D DUMP MY REP IN A SECOND JUST FOR THE FUN OF CLIMBING BACK UP (and if you know anything about me - THAT's true)

2) I still think the guy who made all this deserves the credit for it.

3) But at the same time - Ken still posts, and I can't help wondering if he wanted it just that way...

Me, too. Yesterday I was only 18 (albeit with 40 years experience). Today I feel like I've hit 19.

 

It is possible that Ken decided that after all - rep was just another goody that would be abused as all toys are.

At the time, as I saw it, it was a possible way to make people become more intelligent and responsible in their posts, the least of which being the elimination of bad language.

And anyone setting up a website needs to be sensible to the concerns of parents!@

Reps became more a pain in the butt for Ken than any value he erver placed on the rep system.

Yes. He built the foundation for the house...and did very well with it. The membership and a double basket full of moderators built this house though and will always be the ones that expand it....or burn it down.

 

There is that. What we all saw when we came here - we liked.

And all of those moderators are volunteers
