buddy had this layin around his shop, 4" magnaflow 99+ superduty exhaust. video will come in the morning when it is light out, need to fix my down pipe leak tho i hate that slip fit
5" is being made into a stack on my 86 project. and its already mounted and drove it around the town a bit if it wasnt dark id go take pics but the flash on the camera isnt to good
I'd like to see a couple pics of your truck w/ the dual tip exhaust on it since i'm strongly considering doing that on my truck. See if it looks good enough to take my Chrome 5"er outta the bed.
k, i didnt even get to drive it today....ill go run to the store real quick and try and get in some light and take a walk around/rev video....my downpipe is still leaking tho...
it does sit down a bit low for my liking but what can you expect from trying to make it work from a superduty kit....just a bit of cutting and it will go up higher but thats extra work/time
That's lookin good. I think you just made me make up my mind on dual tip now. How much of a difference could you tell from that muffler that came with the exhaust compared to your straight pipe?? I personally liked the sound of it when you revved it but i'm just to young to have my truck quieted down by a muffler.
They all seem to whistle the same (as long as downpipe isn't leaking) Ive ran 3", 5", and 4" I'll get a video up today. Exhaust sound/ tone really changes
I think I'd cast my vote for vid #2. Both sound good but it's a louder cackle in the second one.
P.S. I hate you guys on the west coast with your straight, rust free trucks. Just sayin. lol jk
