Varied opinions but Very interesting comments and greatly appreciated. I think the engine still has a lot of life in it as is. It does leak a little oil around the valve covers so new gaskets and just a peek inside the top and make a decision then.

One last thing, if you do pull the valve covers: I highly recommend using Fel Pro silicone valve covers gaskets. They are expensive, but well worth it since they are reuseable (if not overtightened) and won't leak. They are available from Jegs and others, but you probably won't find them at your corner parts store, may not even be on their computers.
