This little chore can be done orally instead of instead of a scalpel and sutures. A 3 foot piece of 1/2" pipe cut at 45 degrees on one end and a 3# hammer do a pretty good job of breaking up the guts. You can reach it all by going in each end to get it all broken loose.

Took 2 minutes to cut it open and I reckon about 15 to weld it back. The hardest part was breaking the joint to get the Cat off the truck!

Just a heads up for anybody truck shopping. EODguyJake traded his 04 F350 singe axle Xcab 4x4 in for an '15 6.7 yesterday at Landers in Little Rock, Ar. Studded, lifted a small bit and excellently maintained. 115K miles. Airdog2 fuel pump, regulated return, powermax, and some overhead gauges. Runs like a dream. 5K oil changes, 15K transmission oil changes, and adult driven. I'm sure they'll have it posted online for sale.

I used classic dye products. Turned out alot better than it was but not perfect. I need to order some of their conditioner and sealer as well. I think that might help with not drying out. Josh I buy from alot of auctions and drive all over to get them. But this KR was the best deal I ran across so far. Every one was scared because it didn't run and the right wheel, knuckle was ripped off. But really didn't scare me. Studs and egr delete,4 " turbo back exhaust and great interior was a huge bonus. That doesn't happen all the time.lol. hey Josh did you see your mirror painted and put on?

Yep had to do that last January! Get the seal kit for the HFCM. Pull it off the truck, bench strip it and clean it thoroughly! Put it back together with the new seal kit and reinstall! Make sure to get the updated drain plug so you do not need to carry a 6 mm allen wrench with you.
