Hey guys just looking for some help here,I got a 2005 F-350 6.0L, when idling its running cold, I can't tell you exactly what temp, I'm just going off the gauge on the dash. Also when I step on the gas its making a tea kettle sound from the degas cap?? Any help would be appreciated, fairly new to theses trucks. Thanks Norm!

 

Sounds like exhaust or boosted intake air leaking into cooling system. Head gasket, ruptured EGR cooler or something similar. Are you loosing coolant? Any white smoke out exhaust at start up?

 

No lose of coolant, and no white smoke at start up
