I have a 2006 LCF with the 4.5 L. I'm having a couple issues. not sure if they are connected. When the engine temperature gets to 195 deg. at 1400-1500 rpms there is a strange noise. sounds like its coming from the trubo. The second issue. some times after starting the truck. you can press the gas pedal and nothing happens. no rpm rev. nothing then eventually it starts working again in 30 seconds to 1 minute. then every thing is fine. Has anyone seen these issues before? any guess where I should start to look? Any help would be great.
