Pre cat Delete!

Hey well i have a 2000 f150 5.4L and at the moment i have a true dual set up which is two separate pipes running back into 2 glasspacks and 2 4in tips. I would like to make my exhaust louder and i want to keep the glasspacks for the deep tone and the back pressure. So i was thinking up removing the pre cats and leaving my main cats. I have 4 cats and just want to remove the first two. I would like to know if it is a good idea or not from experience thanks.

This is not a 1975 truck. It was specifically designed to have CATS and O2 sensors all tied to a computer. Removing the CAT can effect the computer and get alarms.

I wouldent do it. You will just stink like exhaust and your cel will always be on. Unless you can get the mil eliminators to work. There's a 02 screw on YouTube with no cats and Flowmasters dumped under the truck. It sounds awsome but he don't talk about any driveability issues.
