96 F350 Centurion
Hey I'm look at buying a 1996 F350 Centurion and was wondering if someone could give me some info on the Centurion trucks. It seems to be pretty heavily customized on the inside and the outside has a fairly nice paint job. Is this all they do to these trucks or is there more? Also is there anything I should look for on these trucks? It's got the 7.3 and just over 300,000mi.
Here is a picture of the truck.

Centurion also made 4 door "Broncos" and crew cab F150s. Audra and Traveler have a great site here: www.fourdoorbronco.com

Do you think $4,800 is a fair price? The only work that I can tell it needs done is some cosmetic stuff. The engine seems to be in good shape and the guy just had the transmission rebuilt two weeks ago and has the paper work to prove it.

why do you ask if 4,800 is a fair price for this cent? is that what your thinking of offering,or is that the asking price?
i don't think you could buy a rebuilt E40D and that body kit for $4800 separately.
Brad, you know 3k wouldn't wouldn't even buy that paint job.

i think it's fair.but it's only one pic.is it rust free underneath? can you live with a 2wd in....NC? can you swap an engine? it could need one during your ownership.then again there's been reports of 7.3l PSD's with many more miles than just 300k too.
it's a lot of truck.it's a centurion.it looks nice.has an expensive body kit.has a freshly rebuilt E40D.i sure see 5k all easy there to start with.but again,it's just one pic.if he has the E40D receipt, then you know what that alone costs.try 4200,and see if you drive her home for 4500.
