Whoa....2wd bronco?!?!?!
I think I just see a 2wd fullsize bronco.
Is this possible.
I passed it going the other direction so I only got a quick look.
It was real low in the front, tire filled the wheelwell, decent rake, and it just didnt look like it had hubs sticking out of the front.
Did they ever make a 2wd bronco
I think I want one to take the back off and lower and make it look like a mini shortbed pickup.

Very rare (at least to me) but I know of one guy that bought a brand new one that was 2 wheel. He also purchased a new 2 wheel blazer in 72. What a let down when your older brother say's I bought a bronco or a blazer. And they both were 2wd. It could be had back in the day just like 2 wheel expy's, explorer, and excursions.

They did make one or a few.. One was a lightning copy. Had everything the lightning did except was a bronco. Was a factory truck built on the assembly line as well.

Ford building them and selling them to the public are 2 different things. Car companies make LOTS of one-offs they don't sell. Ford never sold a 2wd Bronco to the general public. If you are seeing one on the street, I would say it is most likely one that somebody converted. It's not hard.

ford did make and sell them, a friends father walked into the dealership ordered a 89 2 wheel drive bronco with no power anything, no radio and no ac. he paid $7500 cash for it and i took him to pick it up. we were sitting there as it came off the truck with 2 other 2 wheel drives and 2 pickups.
