Stock Gauges

We're all pretty aware that the stock temp gauge is merely an idiot light. Reaches a certain point, stays there.

But what about the oil press & voltmeter? Are they also "idiot lights" or do they actually indicate their respective states???

Amp gauge seems to be somewhat accurate for a gauge with little markings on it. The oil pressure gauge is a switch. Goes to normal for anything above 8psi.

Thanks Joe.

Figured the oil press was also just a set value. Good to know about the batt one.
