Just wanting to know if anyone has installed a BD Diesel boost fooler on their 7.3? If so do you have a step by step with pics? Thanks all

I have the Riffraff OCR overboost code regulator and highly recommend it. Very easy install. Just remove the hose to the MAP sensor, mount MAP sensor on OCR and install OCR. See HERE.

i bought this thing off of Ebay for $7 bucks. Th PO is 1057020 its a piece of wire that grounds out the ses code but i dont think it does anything about the defueling thats what i want. Sould've gone with Riffraff, the sure thing thats what you get when you try to go cheap.
Thanks for the responce.

Browsing the BD website, is doesn't look like they have a product for the 7.3....they have something called Boost Builder for the 6.0 liter. The connector looks the same though. Here are some links that might help you out.
BD Power - Product: Electronic Boost Builders

Does your part look like the one on their website? If not, maybe you can give them a call and they might be able to e-mail you some instructions.

That's the same thing I found on their web site and that's not what mine looks like. They sent instructions with it and it looks like it just blocks the SES from throwing a code. I was looking for a fooler that won't defuel the truck?

How does it block the SES light? If it lies to the PCM then it would accomplish the same thing since any defueling strategy would reside in the PCM calibration.

If it was only $7 bucks, I'd just forego a Starbucks once or twice, chalk it up to experience learned, and buy Clay's OCR.

That's just me tho.
