I'm going to pick one up from Int'l and wanted to know a certain part number, color, etc...?

 

The only one that you will find that is specifically made for your truck is the F7TZ-12K073-B. This is International # 1876735C91

The other one everyone claims as newer is F4TZ-12K073-C. This is P/N 1876736C91 from International. This is really the new one for the OBS trucks, but will work in your truck too.

I just got a letter from Ford stating I need the CPS recall done on my truck. Which one are they going to put on and is that the one I want? I checked out your test results woodnthings but I have no idea what a Perdels test is or CCT is. ???????

 

So I want to buy a CPS to keep in my glove box. (Maybe 2)

I want the black one. What these part numbers:

F7TZ-12K073-A (This is available from my ford dealer, but is called Synchronize assembly. It costs $142)
F7TZ-12K073-B (This is available from my ford dealer and is called the CPS. I think this is the grey one.)
F4TZ-12K073-C (This one is also available from my for dealer and is called CPS)

Should I just give up and buy an International one?

 

If you can get the -A, I would buy it! They're all synchronizers or CPS. Just a play on words, same part though.

 

This is the one everyone wants. $150 is about what they go for on the street these days. I've even seen them go for more, and that was from a person, not a dealer. They are not in production and highly sought after.
