well apparently i cannot post attachments so what it is, is a picture of a small black canister with 3/4 inch hose attached to it with an open end on the other side of it im not sure if it has anything to do with coolant or vaccum cause i had recently changed my thermostat and most likely overfilled my system and im thinking fluid came out of that because the thermostat area had no leak when we checked i think the clog had come out and just burst through that but im not sure

If it's on the drivers side on top of the engine between the oil filler cap and the intake and the open port looks like a heater hose might go on it, it don't.. There is nothing on that nipple , it is the muffler for the air pump intake.

You may not have authority yet because you haven't made 25+ posts. Once you make 25 you can add a signature and a few other things.
Your attachment is actually a link to a picture, then highlight it and click the pic button and it will just display the pic once you post Try that.

It sounds like the same thing, your's must be a 4.9 L or a 5.0 L mine is a 5.8L and it's on the drivers side..

Some info about make, model, engine and such would help a heck of a lot.

The picture will have to be hosted online somewhere. Like photobucket or flickr.. He can not link to a picture on his hard drive.
