I actually just bought a F6 today for 300 bucks today. I had been envisioning a look just like yours I'm glad I stumbled on this thread I love your truck. I was tore between finding a pickup chassis or making the truck look as yours does. I'm convinced now I want it just like yours. Is that just a stock box?
PS nice early bronco as wheel is that yours too. I have one as well.

Thanks

Good eye with the '69 Bronco. That one is my brothers, they're fun trucks. I have a '67 Mustang in the garage.

The box I used is wider and taller than a stock box for a '56. If you have a F6 and not an F600 (48-52 and not 53-56) the bed will be harder to come across to keep a stock look. I would highly suggest keeping the right year of bed with it, there are a lot more 53-76 beds, but they tend to look off on a 48-52. A long bed might be the way to go if you can find one. Mine is as wide as long bed and still needed 4" added to the fenders. You'll have to figure out what you want for a wheel base and weather or not to go crew cab or not (the stock wheel base on my truck was perfect had I wanted a crew cab). It's not the easiest way to go, but I like mine.

Though this set up is actually just temporarily how it's going to be. Going to get pretty interesting once I move here this year and can really get to work.
