steering stabilizer shock?
#16
I've gone through my whole front end this summer, and it still seems to get thrown around on the highway. Poly Radius arm bushings, tie rods, steering box, pump, ball joints last summer. If you hit a bump at an angle on the highway it tends to "bounce" you out of your lane. Ridiculous. I just found a set of plain black Monroe shocks to put on yesterday so I'll find out today how it does on the road. It's much better in town as it is not as stiff feeling. You can actually move the truck up/down when you lean on the fender. Before you had to jump your weight on it and it still barely moved.
I know it's a truck, but it's only a 1/2 ton. No reason for it to ride like my Mack truck.
The steering stabilizer kinda stiffened the steering up(made it feel a bit heavier), but can't say it really did anything for the control over bumps. I suppose if I had bigger tires on it would make more of a difference. Stock size tires, not so much.
