HELP - 6.0L PSD Starting problems...
I had finished driving the truck on Saturday successfully with no issues or indications that there was anything wrong. Did not drive it on Sunday, and went to start it this morning and it will not start.
What it is doing...
I am in Florida so it is only 54 degrees by the Truck-o-meter.
All lights in the dash indicate everything is normal.
The fuel pump sounds as if it is running as normal.
Starts to fire, then doesn't.
Turn off, repeat.

At the mercy of...
Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic and sadly since I know of noone in Jacksonville to help me out with this that I will be at the mercy of Mike Shad Ford. I guess that if there is something simple that I can do that I can try before hand or at least have any idea what it should be before I take it in that is what I am waiting for.

Look on your passenger side valve cover and you should see your ICP sensor...unplug it and try starting the truck.
If you have a voltmeter handy, you can check the FICM voltage: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...procedure.html
I'll move this to the 6.0 forum to get you some good, fast answers....

Need a Part Identified...
Toreador, when I was trying to locate the ICP Sensor I found the following was there but the hose was not connected to it. The hose was just laying below it. I do not know how long it has been like this though, just noticed today so I plugged it back in. Still no joy on starting. And it looks like the ICP sensor is way in the back of the motor? I cannot get to it.
Could that hose off of this part made a problem?

In Grattitude to TD!!!
YES, YES, Toreador, jumped to my rescue today! I know that if I lived in Texas he probably would have been at my doorstep. He did what he could with us limited by cell phones. Although it does help with the moving forward when the mechanic does show. I think I have an after hours/side job Ford mechanic that is coming to look at it tomorrow while I am at work. He is going ot hook up the system and see what codes it may be throwing. Despite that I want to find a dealer in Jacksonville that sells the ScanGauge II so I can hook it up if not for this, for future problems. I know that I puchased the GlowShift Gauges, (that are not yet hooked up), but from what I read the little ugly LED read out provides a lot more information from the brain of the vehicle which can help out in the future.

What I am being told...
Well, after no communication until 7PM, supposedly the mechanic had come by and looked at the truck during the day...
What I am being told is that the Injector Driver Module??? Using the after hours mechanic, parts and labor is $875.00 and I will have to have it towed to his house for the 6 hours of labor to change it out.
Now that being said and my earlier statments that I am not a mechanic, I do know by the sounds of it that a module should be one part that would/might be outside of the motor that would control the injectors. So maybe is it the FICM? Canit be worth that much? I am looking on eBay and the FICM are running $69.95, so the rest of the dollars is labor? Am I buying this man's Christmas for him?
Please some advise...
