Very nice job falconpilot and great write up.

The roof clearance lights were an option on my XLT sticker for like $150 I think. They make a truck a truck, IMO.

And second if a XL cmes factory with them, and you step up in packages that package has everything the lower package has plus the nicer options, so why dont the XLT, lariat, etc have them huh? its a money thing! Roof clearance lights are not installed according to GVW. The only trucks that require them are those that are 80" or wider. That's why all duallys have them. IIRC, roof clearance lights are available as an OPTION on ALL 250 and SWR 350's, it does not matter what trim package you get.

Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.

An electrician's 1/2" knock-out punch.

Pipe size is 1/2-inch, but the actual hole is about 7/8-inch diameter.

Put "1/2 greenlee punch" into ebay search and see what comes up. There's currently one there for five bucks.

Just put a set of Recon LED lights on my 07 F350 crew cab. Made it look like a completely different truck. No real need for them but they sure look nice.

I wouldn't have a 250 or 350 without the cab lights, to me it's a very important part of the truck, & when I see a 250 or 350 without them, I think that thing looks nakked as can be.

Does anyone know the part numbers for the clearance light housing and the harness? I know I saw it on the forum somewhere and thought I bookmarked it.

Yes I went with amber. I thought about the smoked but I wanted to keep the factory look.

I went to the local Ford parts counter the other day and the prices on the lights and wiring harness must have gone up recently. They quoted me 25 bucks a light and 75 dollars for the wiring harness.
