I just got done installing my Atomic LED clearance lights using the advice given here on the forums...
It turned out really good. I placed the flasher switch and change flash switch in my overhead console.. Perfect place as the flasher unit sits on the top of the console under to roof...
Just took me a while to get my nerve up to start drilling holes, but I laid them out, rechecked them, found my errors, redid, and then slept on it... Next morning I felt comfortable enough to start with the drill..
They look really good, and have 4 flash patterns... Will get a video up later when the sun drops some...
I saw this post when it was new---meant to come back, watch the video and comment--sorry its taken so long!
I really like the effect-----nice! Incorporating the switch into the overhead console is very slick too---looks like factory.
I've thought of adding something like the Whelan strobe kits to my 4 way flashers to get the same look as a pace car or truck. Talk about standing out, getting noticed if ever deployed something distinctive like this has more than a looking cool benefit.
I did find out something interesting.. By having the flasher circuit on seperate power wire, the flashers will work independently (on and off) with the light switch off... So i can have flashers on with no lights during the day..
