Anyone know how to remove bump stops?

So I decided to crawl under my truck and swap all the fluids. While under my truck I found something surprising. I knew my front shocks are shot and I haven't replaced them because I'm hoping to purchase a lift kit sometime soon (hoping this week but we'll see). So I believe this is why my front end is banging when I hit large bumps
This is all that's left of my passenger side bump stop and it was only being held on by a small piece

I felt around above the bump stop to see if I can figure out how to remove them, but I couldn't get them out. Anyone know how to remove them??

We have really crappy roads, the only road in and out of town is a gravel road built on a swamp. I managed to get my phone up by the top of the bump stop and it looks like a screw that holds up the front bump stops. Still couldn't figure out how to remove them...

There's a good chance you will have to pry the old one (or whats left of it) out of the cup, and then unbolt the cup. On some lift kits they reuse the cup and bump stop and just install a spacer between the cup and frame.

There's a couple of guys on here that have installed lift kits they will chime in and let you know for sure.

You just pry the bump stops off. There are 4 metal tabs around the outer edge that hold it in. Then in the middle is a fastener you can remove to pull the cup, or just snap a new piece in if you are replacing them. In the front I would replace them to retain the use of bump stops.

I am probably going to remove my rear bump stops since they are kinda useless now. By the time my rear bump stops touch, that means that my leaf spring is literally flipped over.

I can assure you I am not Bo Duke but I wouldn't be surprised if my truck has caught air before... Definitely not enough air to jump a washed out bridge but probably enough to get the tires off the ground lol. Like I said, only road in and out of town is a gravel road built over swamp and it's 300km (187 miles long).

Mmm yeah my truck has been airborne with all 4 wheels off the ground before. I don't think I've bent too many things yet though.

Man, when people say "you live in the middle of nowhere" that reference came from your town. Wow, 187 miles of dirt roads? Man, buy a plane

Oh, and by the way, I put a 2 1/2" lift on my 11 350 for $50. It's a rubber block that sits below your spring. That was the inexpensive part. The shocks will set you back a good $400. Check the ads on here, I just saw a new set of Rancho 9000's go for $250

If a small air plane was feasible, I would have one by now lol. We literally do live in the middle of no where, we are also as far north as you can drive in Manitoba. To continue you have to fly or take a train.

I got a Carli Backcountry suspension lift in the plans but plans never seem to work for me so I ordered a set of Bilstein 5100s for the front of my truck to use till I can get my Carli lift.
