Smile BLEW Water Pump in very bad neighborhood

Well i took my new 88 lifted f150 out to the local home depot. On my way home i made a detour to a not so nice side of town to some ones house to show off the new toy....lol THe motor is hopped up quite a bit and its a very nice looking truck. lifted 9in on 35s Sparkley orange paint

well on my way down the street a gave it a hard rev to 5000 rpm and it just blew the water pump. i lost all the coolant in about 30 seconds. Well to make a long story short. NO TOOLS. ROAD SIDE ASST. WONT TOUCH IT. So im skrewed.

Well my buddy called this shady guy and he came to look at fixing the truck. He was from a few blocks away. he said he would fix it for $50 so that price being reasonable i said ok. So i drove the truck a few blocks it started getting warm but i made it....

Heres where the story gets really good. He insisted i pull my truck over a curb beside a newer grand cheroke. Grass being wet and on a slight grade i was skeptical. But i did as they wished. well....needless to say my truck did a number on the jeeps rear fender. To make it even better its a '' Customers car '' well that nice new jeep cost me another $100. no insurances called. they said $100 and it would be fine. THIS WAS ALL A VERY VERY SHADY Sittuation. I agreed because i wanted the hell outta there.

As he was fixing my truck i was never more than 10ft from my beloved ol ford. Well everyone from the neighborhood came and was walking around my truck and looking threw the windows. That **** stopped real fast. The guy fixing my truck said the new waterpump that was on there blew because it a crappy autozone pump and my truck has alot of power to being running that pump. In a jamb i put the same auto zone waterpump on becasue it was close and 31.99 + lifetime warranty.

well i was just wondering if these pumps are that bad and if i should look forward to replacing it soon????

all in all luckly i was outta there before dark. SO nothing scary had happened to my pretty lil truck.. haha

got outta there 183.26 in the hole. all for a water pump. but its running and driving great so cant complain
