I have a 98 Expedition with the 4.6 and I am looking around to get some info on whats a good muffler to get for this ride. I want to stay away from the OEM stuff and dont want nothing that sounds like im going out on a dirt race track. I just want something that sound good and doesnt upset the neighbors.

 

wow, 56 views and no one can give thier opinion on a good muffler. Tthanks to all that have read it though. I guess im just going to throw a magnaflow on her.

The bigger it is, the less noisy it will be.

 

I used a Magnaflow XL series round case muffler on the '98 F150 that my dad now has, and also on the '01 Navigator that I sold a couple of years ago. They both had a fairly decent low tone that was better than stock, but wasn't stupid loud like some of the others when cruising or at WOT.
