94 ford F150 help

Hello, the bolt that holds my belt tesioner in the alternator bracket snapped for the second time. cant figure out why. Mechanic told me that i should get a new alternator bracket but i dont know. Any one have any ideas on why this keeps happening? Or if that will fix the problem?

When you remove the belt, you are putting more tension on the bold that holds on the tensioner. Could you be putting too much pressure on the tensioner when you remove the belt that the bolt breaks?

I am not sure if ACE makes a bolt for that but if you can find one there it should be nice and strong. If you look, try to find a bolt with 5 tick marks on the head going around the top. That means it is a strong bolt and should be much stronger than you need.
