Question Climate control selector

The climate control selector has stopped working. when I turn the heat or A/C on it only comes out the defroster. I'm unable to change to the floor or dashboard. Does anyone have an Idea on this issue.

As of now I have checked the fuses and all appears good and there wasn't an applicable relay. Is it possible for the electronic blend acuator to be bad and in need of replacement?

The climate control switch is a vacuum switch. All the air direction door motors operate by vacuum. Depending on your year/engine, it gets vacuum from the intake manifold (early gassers), or a small electric vacuum pump on the passenger fender in the engine compartment (later gassers and diesels).

The vacuum pump will have a vacuum line and two wire connector. See if it runs without the line on. If not it needs replaced.
