09' F-150 King Ranch supercrew, 67,000 miles, both exhaust manifolds are cracked. Dealer #1 says no warranty and #2 says they are under warranty , who is right?

 

Hard to tell. I was thinking they would be covered under the extended emissions warranty described here (this is for 2011 trucks but I assume they'd be the same for 2009):

BUT, it looks like the only parts covered to 8 years/80k miles are the catalytic converters and not the exhaust manifolds (which would leak emissions and in my mind should be covered).

Might also depend on what state you live in--I recall that California has longer emissions warranties on more parts. And, if Ford has a secret warranty on the manifolds that could make a difference.

If you have a dealer that says they will be covered, I would just take it there and have them do the work

According to dealer #2, the vin# says it should be covered, so off to dealer #2. Thanks for the reply.
