f250 wheel and tire options

i have a 2004 f250 5.4l 4x4 and i wanted to put new rims and bigger tires on it. i was thinking of 17 or 18 inch rims and the rims i was looking at were Moto Metal 951 (crhome) or MKW M85 (satin black but i guess they might not fit). i wanted to know what tires i could put on rims that size and not rub but take up the wheel wells. i also live in Mass so i cannot lift it more than 2" (which i wanted stock height anyway) but if i had to i could to a 2" leveling kit and F350 rear blocks to make it still legal. Also i have dark grey paint and im not sure what color rims would look best. i am also planning on putting bushwacker fender flares so sticking out of the wheel well an inch or 2 isnt a big deal.

I just went through the same process. Your best bet is to do a Google search and a search of this forum. You'll find what your looking for. As far as color I chose black cuase I like the way they look. I just picked mine up yesterday and haven't gotten them on the truck yet. I found a local company that cut me a decent deal on what I wanted so I didn't have to deal with the chain places with limited choices. Good luck.

The newer trucks come with 17s or 18s stock, check their stock tire sizes n go from there.

They still have the radius arms to contend with. It would at least get ya started for that rim size.

2007 F250 XLT longbed with factory stock 8 hole 8 lug alloy 17 inch wheels. Factory tire was Pirelli Scorpion STR LT265R17. Seems to be plenty of room in the wheel wells. Good Luck.
