I used to own a '89 Bronco, with 32x12.5x15r on them. No rubbing at all. Only rubbing I ever got, was with my 33" Super swampers that I put on it, and even then was only on the radius arms. BUT I did have bigger wheels on it, because with stock wheels, they will rub. I know this because my other bronco had 32" with stock wheels, and they rub fairly hard on the radius arms on the '89.

had an '89 F150 with 31x10.50r15 avon mud terrains. I had a VERY minor rubbing issue with mine on the pass front because my front bumper was tweeked and sat farther back on that side. probably wouldn't have if the bumper had been straight. I didn't notice any loss of performance going from the 235/75r15 it had on it. my truck had a 302/aod and 3.55:1 LS.

To all you people w/ 87-91 year trucks:
The front ends are different. That year range has a more open wheel well, and will allow for a 33x12.5 on stock rims w/ no rubbing. The truck in question is a 96, different bumper and different wheel openings. Your trucks do not apply to this situation.
