AC/Heat options 1948 v8 flat

I need input on this option plz. I am looking for LOW LOW impact on the interior look. I like stock appearance. Any pics of your vintage systems or sites you know of would help. Thanks.

If you get to the point that you need a mount to mount a standard Sanden 508,509 compressor on your flathead, I have a mount that I was going to originally use on my 24 stud 38 woodie. If interested, PM me

If you want to hide the A/C and use a stock heater, I'd try one of the under the seat A/C units.

Mark , sent you a PM with details . Most likely have the part here . Have enough Magic Air heaters , fresh air tubes and related parts to last for a while . Have quit buying all part . Let some others deal with the rusted old parts .Just picked up some fresh rubber to make more heater boots . NPD is running low on stock and have requests for more .See thread om e-brake cable boots .Thanks Denny

Hey Rube,
You have a beautiful truck there! I have a 1950 - the tight cab & small dash make it very difficult to get A/C in there without it being obvious.
I looked at a number of options & ended up going with Vintage Air out of San Antonio. This is their "mini slimline" product - It contains the heater core, Evaporator core, Blower, & thermostat. The switch is wired into a **** on the dash.

Good luck over there - Post pics of what you go with - I'm curious what
creative solutions are out there for A/C/Heat.

Thx
Ben in Austin
