Cleveland/400 aluminum heads, Yates/CHI?

Alrighty, I'm looking to jump up to some aluminum heads for my stroker, as I have some new BBF stroker competition. Anyway I've been looking at CHI 3V heads, and also the Yates C3/D3 heads (these seam to be more plentiful then the CHI heads) Anyway, does anyone know if the Yates heads are a direct bolt on to the 400/Cleveland blocks? I do know that there are some valve train bits that are particular to the heads, and the intake/exhaust ports will be different (I can deal with those differences), but are they interchangeable onto these blocks?

Next, which would provide the best performance, or is there something even better out there?
