headling replacement

i have a 1990 standard cab and the headliner has been sagging on the drivers side for a few years now, separated, wondered how hard it is to replace it. does the replacement come as one piece, backing and material already attached or do i just get the material and have to stick it to my old liner.

It is attached to a board with adhesive. The board is fairly easy to remove. Just take the A pullers and windshield trim off, then take the trim above the rear window off. After that take the B pillars loose. They don't have to come out. You can then either reattatch or recover the board.

Don't over tighten the screws when reinstalling. They are easy to strip out.
