My new ride... 1951 F1
I wish I could take the credit for the build but I saw her listed on ebay a few weeks ago so I sold my 2004 Explorer and my 1973 Triumph Tiger and drove down to Erie PA and bought her.
The previous owner did all the work (over the 29 years he owned her). He bought her all stock in California and did a frame off resto-mod. The driveline is from a '73 Camaro (I would have stuck a 351, and a C6 in her, but to each his own).
I always wanted a '51 (or '52), just love the look but everything I've ever looked at was either too much money or too roachy (and still too much money). All I've done so far is wired up a horn, an underdash AM-FM CD player, and some courtesy lamps (in the kick panels) so I have a little light when I open the door.
I've been a long time F150/F250 owner so I've read quite a few threads on this site over the years so I felt the need to finally join.

Nice truck! Nice color too! I checked out your pics. Looks good.
I see you do motorcycle restorations. You need to talk to Ross (aka ALBUQ F-1). I will let him tell you guys about his latest project. It's a really cool looking Triumph. So tell me, what would it cost me to let you tackle my 1980 Honda Z50 mini dirt bike? My old man bought it for me new. 31 plus years later, it still runs. For some odd reason, my knees now fit better over the TOP of the handlebars. My kids think I'm crazy when I ride it.

thanks for the welcome everyone. Moe, your '62 Sporty sounds sweet (even apart), that's a right foot shifter, confusing but fun.
Doc, I rebuilt a 1978 xl250 this past spring. It started as a $300. purchase because the seller said it needed "a valve adjustment," I replaced the cam chain and a bunch of other misc. parts and painted it like a military bike. Those old Honda's never die and they really can do an excellent job of digging up your lawn too.
