Nagging noise..

My powersteering system has been nagging me lately. It sounds like a hissing noise, but if you listen closely you can distinctly hear it say "Flush me. Flush me."

It was really loud today even while not at full crank.

So I ask you; Does anyone have a good write up? Any suggestions?

I was hoping this was gonna be you asking about a nagging noise you were hearing in your truck.

I was hoping to reply, its probably your wife

subscribing

I've got a dead spot in my steering at idle that goes away when RPM is raised. Flush has been suggested, but I haven't the foggiest how to do. Hope someone chimes in with a good walkthrough

Here ya go, Trey:
Ford Super Duty Power Steering Flush | Superdutypsd.com

Stevebricks and I did this earlier this year. It is pretty easy. Helps to have a second pair of hands.

Get yourself a good synthetic ATF, like Mobil 1.
