Wipers/ auto on headlights

Well I don't know if any of the 2011's do it but on my 2012 if i turn on the wipers and my headlight switch is on auto the headlights turn on. I thought was a great idea!! sometimes its the little things in life.

Was on my 6.4 as well.

Its an okay feature Not a real big deal for me. I'm more satisfied that these trucks finally got side and side curtain airbags. Stability control was also overdo.

I love the safety equipment of this new truck.

Cool. One more reason to the growing quickly list why I love my truck. Don't know if I would have discovered this on my own or not.

One more way Ford is staying in compliance with new regulations. Most states require headlights to be on when driving in rain. They hit the mark with this feature but missed with others, like why the auto ac settings does not remember cooled seat settings when truck is turned off and on again.

I tested my Job 1 "with limited edition seats" this morning after washing her and sure enough, this works. I had no idea. It's nice to know since it is the law in IL (and several other states) to have headlamps on when it is raining. I had been switching it to manual in the rain without knowing the "auto" was doing it for me. Pretty cool and thanks for the info.

I think somebody posted it a couple days ago, if you leave the A/C seats on and you leave the trucks A/C setting on AUTO that it does work. I never have mine on AUTO though so I can't verify.

The auto settings do remember the cooled/heated seats when left on "auto". It's in the owners manual. Below 35 for heated I believe and above 85 (or something) for cooled. It's in the manual. I always leave my system on auto.

Thanks SGT, that was just for the remote start function that they come on if ambient temp is in that range. Wil break out the manual again and see if I missed anything, always on auto climate setting, just every start up requires pushing the seat cool buttons to turn them back on once key is inserted.
