Leveling kit?

Leveling kit?
I have a 1999 F250 with the 5.4l. There is 3" more gap between the rear tires and the fender wells compared to the front. Was interested to see if anyone could give me some insight on the best leveling kit for me. I think I need a shackle lift. Was looking at the Rough country brand. Anyone have any good/ bad experiences with these?

Im new to all this stuff as well only have had my rig for about a month and a half I'm guessing that kits might all be similar in quality but main thing would be shock quality

I dont know anything about the shackle lifts but I bought a tough country 2.5 mini spring pack on my 01 f250 5.4 gas, so far I'm very pleased with it, didn't take long to install. It did make the truck nose high so i removed the rear stock blocks and installed new 4" blocks, which raised the truck 2 in the rear

Hey thanks for the imput! Your setup looks awesome! Do you know what the difference in weel well measurements before you did the mini springs? I think my truck has much more height in the back than yours started with. There is an extra three inches in my suspension. I think if the mini springs raised the front end up by 2.5 then it would look perfect!

I had measurements but I lost them.
I want to say my stock was somewhere around 8.5 in the front and 11 in the rear
After the leaving kit it went to 10.5-11.5 in the front
And after I put the blocks in the rear it sits in the 13s now.
It was somewhere around there.
From factory Fords sit lower in the front. 250's have 2'' rear blocks and 350's have 3'' blocks.
And with yours being a 99 you'll have to find out if its a early or late model, couldn't tell you what the difference is, just know when you by a kit its a question that is asked.
Also I bought my lift (for my truck and Jeep) from the link above, very good company and very helpful.

Ok guys that info helped a lot about the u bolts. I am sure the suspension is f350 cause it has 3 leafs up front and 6 out back (not counting the overloads). So I was talking to a guy at rough country and hge said for my truck the shackled lift would be best because it won't effect ride quality. I gues if I had the extra weight of the v10 or deisel than I could run the add leaf kit. I will look into the mini springs.

My truck sits level when empty, but my WD hitch levels it out when I tow the RV. My truck is almost always empty, so I prefer the level look rather than rear end high.
