Broke piston now what?

Bought a 97 f350 CCLB 5sp that had a noise up high. Price was decent and hoped to get lucky and find it to be injector knock. Ended up being a broke piston and a fairly bad looking cylinder. I know of a under 100k late99 7.3 out of a cab fire that May be available. I am considering swapping it in. I know I would need to convert fuel supply pump, injectors, and intercooler, but that was in my plan anyway. Would the swap be a good idea or would you rebuild? Any other issues with the swap? Advantages? Thanks

With the 99 engine, all you need to do is put single shot injectors in it and OBS style valve cover gaskets on it and you can run it. Of course put the OBS GPR and bracket on, delete the AIH, and any other little mods you can do cheap while it's out like gut the EBPV.
