AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGAAAA!!!!
Help please, tryin to get to the standpipes/dummy plugs on a 06.What all has to come off the top before I can get to em? Also the book I got says I need to loosen the right side engine mnt. Is this nesassary? Can any one point me to a tech guide or write up with the info. I would greatly appricate it. I'm running out of time before I'll have to just put it back together and drive it for 7 more days, and I'm gettin tired of being stranded in the middle of the intersections. Thanks

You have to remove the valve covers and at least the oil rail on the passenger side to replace the stand pipe and dummy plug. The drivers side just requires removal of the valve cover. No need to loosen an engine mount, but you MAY want to remove the fender liner on the passenger side to make access to valve cover bolts easier.

IIRC - these videos might help (even though your truck is a later model year):
