oh no they didnt warranty it. said it was under abuse so it was on me so another 560$ and im good to go.

any who, got it all back together, NO MORE GROWL!! my last clutch must have been a crapper... the turbo is insane. i cant really get on it becuase its got 5 miles on it now but i think it spins in 4th on a role... but its actually very quiet? thought it would have been real loud in the cab but who knows. travis was right, i believe it lights around 2200 and comes on hard. sounds like a new dmax now! the exhaust is definitely smooth and when your starting to build good boost it has the sound the newer dmaxs have, that weird airy sound? ill have to get pics and vids maybe tomorrow!

Glad you got it running. Sounds like it spools decent if it's coming on around 2200. Have to see what it does after clutch break in when you can put the hammer down. If you try hard enough you can drive 500 miles in a couple days. LOL

Those guys are smart. =)

But then, you have a Hauling/Towing clutch, not a play around clutch. So...

I'm finding that it spools really close to a stocker,.its very easy to drive and not laggy and pretty torquey, the added flow smoothed out the power.

That pretty BIG turbo.

How much boost you push with stock and 71 mm turbo?

And PLEASE GET THAT TO FORD DEALER for cruise control RECALL.

Stock I could clear 30 to 32 or so. With the new clutch I've only brought it up to 25 and let out amd that was pretty easy, seams tp start to pull hard around 20. I'll get some solid info once ny clutch wears in and I can give it a small run very driveable, and egts appeare to be slightly lower but I.could he nuts, only been around town

You should notice the EGT difference at WOT and towing. I'd bet it'll be tough to get over 1300* empty depending on your tuning.

I'm surprised you can get it that hot with stock injectors His might get hotter than that with stage 2's then...

Steve, that thing looks killer. Do you have any plans to dyno the new set up once everything is broke in?
