Unhappy Installing new 12v fuse panel

I have been working on installing s0me new accessories and desire to install a seperate fuse panel to make these and future additions easier. I am looking at running a new 12V+ fused line from the battery to new fuse panel mounted under the dash. My problem is that I can't seem to find a way through the firewall. Does anyone have any recomendations? Is there a place to run this wire? Do I have to drill? If yes, do you have a recomended location.

Thanks
Paul

Installing new 12v fuse panel

Usually there is an opening in the vicinity of the computer where the wire loom enters the engine compartment. If that is not readily accessible, try near the pedals. If you have to drill a whole, usually easier on the driver's side because there are no A/C components on that side and more room and easier to access.
