Sr master tech has a video on how you can bleed at the hpfp.
srmastertech's Channel - YouTube

I would think if air is getting past the hpfp with enough fuel it will run, just miss alot. Too much of that would not be good. Don't think a couple of minutes would hurt it as fuel is lubricating the hpfp.

I have read the procedure in the Ford Shop Manual but don't have the special tools. None on E-Bay that I can find either.

Too bad that they don't have a little inspection glass in the line like some commercial refrigeration has.

Just looking on Internet found like where the old quick connect would fit on the new 6.7; but once on the fitting it couldn't be removed because you couldn't slide the outer part due to interference. That would be a bad day!

If you know a source for the quick connect and the special banjo bolt I am open to considering the purchase of some more special tools but if cheaper to pay the man to do the work.

I'm still questioning my purchase of the used Rotunda vibration analyzer
