Pics Of My 1956 F250

I took pictures some body tell me why the vin and frame rail numbers are off by one letter I am thinking it was to have a V8 then when it was ordered it was changed to a 6 .

Yeah that would have to be the case. The unit #s match... 59061. Either that or just a freak mistake on the assembly line. Weird.

Mix and Match work Truck

I can tell this hood is from a V8 Fordamatic there are holes in the hood for another emblem FACTORY holes one fender looks to have been added too colors do not match cab color!!

Couple guys across the assembly line, amidst the noise and bustle of the factory...
what's the VIN??!

Maybe the V8 went dead and was replaced with the 6 cylinder???

Can you show me a bigger picture of where the VIN is on the frame, I'd like to find mine, but can't seem to.

If you look through the pass side fender well to the frame near the cab you should see the top of the frame I had to use some WD40 to clean it up

Everyone Laugh at Me

So I learned about 1956 air cleaners the hard way unscrew butterfly and freak out! I thought something was wrong with my truck a quart of oil in my cleaner Haha . But I did take out the gas tank sending unit peered into a real clean tank little sediment but no RUST cuss word to me. Put Marvel Mystery oil in cylinders busting my Knuckles and every last plug trying to break them free.Note to self purchase Quality tools next time.
