No codes were found. All injectors, plugs and O2 are working correctly.

All we know is that the rpm does not change when the engine is put under a load.

ok fellas, finally got around to finding time to address this issue. the truck is still acting the same but that should be expected since I haven't put any time into fixing the problem. I did take it by a local AZ and had them pull the codes. the only one that came up is P0506. this code points towards a vacuum leak, dirty TB, IAC motor defective, and/or poor electrical connection to the IAC.

I can't find any visual signs of a vacuum leak and electrical connections all looks to be in good condition. nothing is cracked or unplugged. now, there seems to be some question and to whether my truck has an IAC motor or not. I've been around cars a long time and I'd like to say that I know my way around under the hood pretty well, but I've included a pic of what I think IS the IAC motor. can you guys please confirm this? TIA

now, if I'm correct, the IAC motor is the object on the side of the TB at the bottom of the pic.

oh, and sorry for the large pic, forgot to resize before posting.

ok, just took TB off and cleaned it thoroughly. had quite a bit of gunk built up on the inside. I did attempt to keep any of the TB cleaning fluid from entering the IAC motor for the lack of not knowing if I should or not. let's see how she does.
